The results of this study consist in the complex analysis of the pedo-geomorphological support of the Orhei National Park to identify the morphodynamics of the relief and the sustainable exploitation of natural ecosystems. The dominant relief is the sculptural one, characterized by asymmetric valleys, formed on a generally monoclinal structure. The accelerated evolution of the hydrographic network with a subsequent character determined the development of the cuesta relief, in which short and steep slopes can be distinguished on one side (cuesta front), and on the other long and gentle slopes (cuesta reverse). The soil cover is specific to the forest-steppe zone, the gray forest soils being dominant. The need for this analysis must be taken into account for studying the evolution of natural processes in establishing measures to preserve the ecological balance |
