In this paper, the Renewable Energy System (RES) is considered in a small electric power system, equivalent to Aguni-Island, Okinawa Prefecture where the electricity demand is 1 MW. The proposed power system is consisting of Photovoltaic (PV), Wind Generator (WG), Diesel Generator (DG), and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). In this study, we proposed the optimal capacity and operation method of the PV, WG, BESS, and DG in the microgrid. The main purpose of this study is to reduce the cost of power generating from RES by cutting off the load. Households have considered with small PVs and BESSs, retained charging status during cutoff. This study, make it is possible to respond to the uncertainty caused by generating from RES. In addition, the burden on customers can be reduced. The simulation method used in this research is MILP, validated using MATLAB. |
