A statistical approach of Biochemical Screening with various Biofertilizers and inorganic NPK influence on Amaranthus polygonoids( L.)

Popis: The utilization of Bio-Fertilizers has been increasing due to increase in awareness of health with changing lifestyles. The application of biofertilizers in agricultural practices ensures environmentally friendly and safe resultant in all aspects .A pot experiment conducted to investigate the effect of bio fertilizers individually and in combination with chemical fertilizer on Amaranthus polygonoids (L.).The objective of the present study is to screen the best combination of various bio fertilizers, inorganic NPK, vermicompost for getting favourable nutritional characteristics. The treatment includes ten treatments (T1-T10) with four replications. The plants samples were analysed with biochemical constituents such as total chlorophyll, protein, carbohydrates, and cellular levels of calcium & iron on 35 days old plants. Bio-fertilizers Cyanobacteria, Phosphobacteria and Azospirillum combined with half dose of inorganic fertilizer (NPK) T10has lead to enhancement of nutritional status of leafy vegetable Amaranthus polygonoids compared to control. The result showed that the treatment T3-T10 has significant increase in all the biochemical parameters of the study and the joint treatment T10 were most notable over the control T1 (without fertilizer).The data obtained was analysed using statistical analysis software and the means were obtained using one-way ANOVA analysis.
