Popis: Out-of-step synchronizing incidents have demonstrated that thermoplastic insulation systems survive better than thermosetting. In the absence of volts per hertz protection both rotor winding and forging of a two pole turbo alternator required replacement while inoperative negative sequence protection resulted in damaged insulation of salient poles. In the event of an arcing fault, exposed protection circuit wiring is vulnerable.
