Popis: | An investigation is made of the possibility of increasing the reliability of large back-up rolls by reducing the carbon content in the roll steels and also by additional alloying with silicon and vanadium in addition to chromium-molybdenum. Mathematical experiment planning was used to investigate the rules of influence of alloy element content and of heat treat parameters. The results of the experiments are shown. The advantages of 60KhSMF steel over 9KhF steel are confirmed by tests which showed that the life of rolls with sleeves of 60KhSMF steel is significantly higher than those of 9KhF steel. Depth of chipping is significantly less also. |
