Popis:	The title compound, C 22 H 29 NO 2 , is a monodentate Schiff base. There are two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. In each molecule the two planar phenyl rings bridged by a C=N imino moiety are nearly perpendicular to one another [79.80 (4) and 81.14 (4)°]. Each molecule contains intramolecular (O-H…O) and intermolecular (O-H…N) hydrogen bonds.
