Popis: Marketing Communication is the most important and significant tool for the organizations and the firms for the sales and promotion of their products and services. Without this tool organizations will be unable to communicate with their customers. The objective of the Marketing communication mix is to inform, persuade and remind the customer about the products and services they manufacture for the solution of the problem faced by the consumers. For the purpose of achievements of objectives, therefore advertisement is one of the basic and prominent marketing communication mix tool. This paper proves the importance of advertisement through the ancient times and its evolutionary developments for the determination of the importance of advertisement in the field of marketing. The nature of the research paper was qualitative and data was collected through secondary sources which digged into the concept of advertisement, global history of advertisement and evolution of history of advertisement in Pakistan, which will inevitably assist the research scholars of the relevant arena and will be instrumental and beneficial in the field of the research and business organizations.
