Certified reference materials with uranium homogeneity on the microscale

Popis: The U distribution on the microscale for the Certified Reference Materials (CRM): SL-1, Soil-5, S-3, S-7, S-8, S-12 - S-19 was investigated by the fission track micromapping technique. For the reference materials with uranium heterogeneity a procedure to change this heterogeneous distribution into a homogeneous one is proposed. This procedure consists in a chemical treatment in conjunction with a thermal treatment. Chemical state of the uranium in changed samples, the new element composition as well as the behaviour in time of the charged reference materials are presented.
