Popis: | H–D tracer experiments during n-octane aromatization on Cr2O3/La2O3/ZrO2 catalysts allow conclusions to be drawn on the reaction mechanism. The rate-determining step is the dissociative adsorption of the paraffin molecule. The following dehydrogenation steps seem to proceed predominantly reversibly. |
