Popis: As a chemical constituent of Garcinia cambogia, a new xanthone, garbogiol, was isolated from the root; a known xanthone (rheediaxanthone A) and two known benzophenones (garcinol and isogarcinol) were obtained from the bark. The structures were established by spectral analysis.
