Popis: | To select in the literature the importance and challenges of food for the development and potential of the individual related to growth, promotion, and health. Method: This is an Integrative Literature Review and 188 articles were selected for analysis. After applying the defined inclusion and exclusion criteria, 15 studies were included in the research. The studies showed that dealing with the subject is essential, allowing children and adolescents access to healthy and quality food, guaranteeing their right to food as provided for in the Statute of Children and Adolescents. Most studies concluded that several schools do not offer adequate food to their users, despite the importance of this practice being evidenced by the works. Therefore, implementing and implementing the guidelines that the National School Feeding Program legislation offers is essential to change this scenario in the school context. |
