A Q-band high efficiency 40W space traveling wave tube (TWT) is being developed for low earth orbit (LEO) satellite communication system. The dimension of the Q-band space TWT is 210mm × 40mm × 44mm with the weight less than 500g. The saturated output power and efficiency is higher than 40W and 55% respectively. |
