In this paper, we develop an effective method based on exact penalty function optimization technique that improves the convergence rate significantly. Moreover, in worst cases such that nonsmooth hardly converges to an optimal output, the proposed developed method can solve it completely with reasonable complexity. The specific scenario considered is minimizing the total base station transmit power subject to some SINR thresholds on users. Nevertheless, this method can also be applied to other similar models. |
