Popis: Campodea (Campodea) posterior Silvestri, 1932 Material studied. Penibaetic Mountains: Cirque of Veleta summit; 1 ♀, 3 juveniles, scree slope MSS, 3 SSD, IX 2012, 2 ♀♀, scree slope MSS, 3SSD, X 2015. V.M. Ortu��o, J.D. Gilgado & A. Tinaut leg. Habitat and distribution. Endemic to the Iberian Peninsula, C. posterior is an abundant species spread along the Baetic Mountains living in both humid and dry soils at various depths (Sendra & Moreno 2004).
