Dampak Pandemi Covid-19 Terhadap Tenaga Kerja Pengangguran Terbuka Di Provinsi Aceh

Popis: The current pandemic condition causes sluggish economic growth which results in increased unemployment. With the limitation of population mobility, as well as the closure of shopping centers, the closure of tourist attractions makes economic activity not as smooth as before. As many as 4,000 workers in Aceh have been fired or have been laid off since the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the BPS report, Aceh Province experienced an increase in the Open Unemployment Rate from before and during the pandemic by 0.42%. The purpose of this study was to determine the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Unemployed Workers in Aceh Province and How Big the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Open Unemployed Workers in Aceh Province. The analytical method used in this study is Multiple Classification Analysis using the SPSS application. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the beta value was adjusted before the COVID-19 pandemic, the Provincial Minimum Wage had the largest influence with a value of 40.5%, while during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Provincial Minimum Wage variable also had the largest influence, namely 34.5%. When viewed from the R-squared value before the COVID-19 pandemic, it was shown that there was a diversity of the open unemployment rate of 34.2%. Meanwhile, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the R-squared value showed the diversity of the open unemployment rate during the COVID-19 pandemic of 29.4%. The conclusion in this study is that the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Open Unemployment Rate has a significant effect, obtained from a significant level of 0.079 which means it is lower than the 5% negligible.
