| Popis: | The first impression any reader will have of this superbly presented little volume, is the superb photographs, which elevate it to the level of Art as well as Science. I assume that the pictures are all the work of Rudi van Aarde, for he has become one of Africa's finest wildlife photographers in recent years. The University of Pretoria and its Department of Zoology and Entomology are to be congratulated for their foresight in having been closely associated with its publication, as they have in the past with the publication of the seminal The Mammals of the Southern African Subregion. |
