Popis:	The esterification of thiodiglycol and long alkyl-chain carboxylic acids is reported. Reaction of thiodiglycol with carboxylic acid via p-TsOH/C-catalysed direct esterification afforded thiodiglycol dicarboxylic acid esters in good yields and chemoselectivity. The use of immobilized p-TsOH on activated carbon as catalyst is crucial for the transformation.
