Popis: | The present study is focused on the synthesis of hexadecyltrimethyl ammonium encapsulated silicovanadate [C19H39N](HSiV10O28) by sol–gel and hydrothermal method. The compounds have been characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscope (SEM), thermogravimetry–differential scanning calorimetry (TGA/DSC), and UV–visible spectroscopy. Antibacterial trial shows that the synthesized compounds have a potential synergistic effect with β-lactam antibiotics against uropathogenic Escherichia coli to treat urinary tract infection. |
