| Popis: | The article analyzes the peculiarities of the ethnic-confessional identity of diaspora minorities in the South of Russia, in terms of territorial remoteness from the main ethnic core or historical background. The confessional specificity of the group enhances its ethnic differentiation with other groups in the society. Ethnosocial and confessional attitudes exacerbate the risks of the development of interethnic conflicts; the state-national politics is impossible without taking into account both ethnic, cultural and religious characteristics of the groups. |
