Popis:	The modern system of pedagogical education is analyzed, within the framew­ork of which it is necessary to apply new approaches to the process of formation of leadership qualities for future teachers. The analysis of the internal potential of the individual as a resource for ensuring the development of the leadership qualities of the future teacher is carried out. It is revealed that an important component of the transformation of the internal potential of the personality of the future teacher to the resourceful development of leadership qualities is the professional self-consciousness of the subject, which includes the ability to analyze the leader identities in the professional environment and to form his own "I-image" leader in the structure of professional activity and relationships. It has been established that the professional "I-concept" is an important element of resource provision for the develo­pment of the leadership qualities of the future teacher.
