Popis: The fluctuation properties of quantum systems now are used as a signature of quantum chaos. The analyses require data of extremely high quality. The 29Si(p,γ) reaction is being used to establish a complete level scheme of 30P to study chaos and isospin breaking in this nuclide. Determination of the angular momentum J, the parity π, and the isospin T from resonance capture data is considered. Special emphasis is placed on the capture angular distributions and on a geometric description of these angular distributions.
