Popis: This Letter deals with average drift of electrons, originating due to ionization of gas at low pressures by strong microwave field of TE mode in a longitudinal static magnetic field. The electron drift close to the ECR is demonstrated to increase considerably downstream microwave propagation. The phenomenon may be used for rectifying of a microwave AC with its conversion into DC.
