Popis: Stress relaxation behavior after a large step strain is reported for a polyisoprene comb with lightly entangled arms. The linear viscoelastic behavior of the comb is fit with the theoretical model of Kapnistos et al.[1] using characteristic values for the given chemistry and p2 = 1/12. Using time‐temperature superposition, stress relaxation mastercurves are reported that span the complete relaxation behavior of the comb, from branch to long time backbone behavior. The backbone of the comb is well entangled after relaxation of the branches, but does not exhibit damping behavior consistent with an entangled linear chain showing a change due to the presence of the branch points.
