In order to enhance the calibration accuracy and efficiency, a method of calibrating the error model coefficients of 4 equal-spaced installed accelerometers simultaneously using indexing table was researched. The relationships between angular position errors of the indexing table, the outputs of accelerometers and the error model coefficients were derived, based on which the identification method for calibrating error model coefficients of accelerometers was studied. The detailed analyses showed that this method had two advantages, the one was that angular position errors of the indexing table had no impacts on the calibration accuracy of scale factors, the other was that the second-order or higher order harmonics components of errors of the indexing table were uninfluential on the other model coefficients calibration accuracy. The calibration accuracy of error model coefficients could be further improved by compensating for the first-order harmonic errors which could be measured and separated from the outputs of checking system consisting of autocollimator and polygon. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method was verified by simulation analysis. |
