Process outputs are usually affected by unmeasurable disturbances and noise, so that it is difficult to get a satisfied control performance in industry if a conventional PID controller is used. In this paper several advanced process control strategies have been adopted to sovle this problem. For using those control algorithms a mathematical model should be developed at first. Since process outputs are affected by the unmeasurable disturbance a model with error less than is created by using ML method. After that internal model control and inferential control strategies are studied. The effect caused by those factors can be separated and estimated from the secondary measurable outputs, and then one can be crippled and overcome by those advanced controllers. Some useful results are obtained from the expriment and simulation of FCCU as a real example. The control performances are much better than that of PID. System robustness is studied as well. |
