Popis:	Mycotoxins in addition to aflatoxin have been shown to alter the immune response. Generally, mycotoxins depress the total immune response, but various components of the immune system may be stimulated by exposure to mycotoxins. Therefore, the term immunomodulation is an appropriate descriptive term for the effects of mycotoxins on the individual components of the immune system, because it encompasses both enhancement and depression.
