Popis:	As the early Christians experienced the sustaining will, the saving love, and the abiding presence of the one God, they were led to conceive of God as a threefold unity. Various historical developments have contributed to a persistent misunderstanding of the Trinity by Muslims. Following the pattern of the development of the doctrine in the early church, the Christian should invite the Muslim to experience personally the one God who sustains, saves, and abides. Such an invitation will be acknowledged to the degree that the life of the witness embodies the truths and qualities which the Trinity represents.
