Optimal reorder decision-making under the uncertain production cost

Popis:	The long time from contracting to the producing and the stochastic price fluctuation of raw material will cause the phenomenon that the production cost is uncertain when two firms sign the contract. The uncertain cost brings about new conflicts to the supply chain. We consider a supply chain, in which the manufacturer produces the products and the retailer orders products and sells them to the customers. We first investigate the optimal decisions in centralized decision. The supply chain with wholesale price contract and the wholesale contract with reorder is then demonstrated. We prove that the reorder could coordinate the production in some circumstance with uncertain cost, and it could increase the supply chain profit a lot.
