Popis: | The effect of displacement and decorrelation of image plane speckles on the success rate of electronic speckle photography (ESP) is discussed. A straightforward definition for successful cross-correlation peak detection is given. Both experiment and simulation show a typical breakdown of the success rate vs. speckle correlation. The point of the breakdown is influenced by the rate of speckle displacement, which is related to the experimental setup, especially defocusing distance. By choosing the proper defocusing, the maximal measurable deformation is higher. |
