Popis: | 1. 1. In the serum of the male Macropipus puber , in stage Do, two protein fractions, which probably both have a quaternary structure but different electrophoretic mobilities and antigenic structures, are able to chelate free iron. 2. 2. One of these fractions is a copper protein, and perhaps corresponds to hemocyanin. 3. 3. The second which is devoid of copper has on paper the same electrophoretic mobility as human transferrin and therefore seems to be a metal-binding protein. |
