Popis:	The problems are considered concerning the organization of a system for monitoring the pollutant emissions into the atmosphere in a power plant stack. Presented are the results of calculation investigations of the distribution of the fields of velocities and concentrations of the combustion products along the height of the stack No. 2 of the Kazan TETs-3 and of a typical power plant stack. The effects of the conditions at the inlet to the stack on mixing of the combustion products are considered. The cross sections have been determined for installing the measuring systems.
