Popis: | Novel anion-exchange resins were prepared from asphaltenes by nitration with nitric acid followed by reduction of the nitrated asphaltenes with sodium sulfide. The aminated asphaltenes were investigated as anion exchange resins for the treatment of phenol-containing wastewater. Their maximum adsorption capacity was found to be 2.3-fold superior to that of an industrial AV-17-8 (OH– form) AER sample. |
