Ștefănucă’s works from the beginning of the 20th century, as discovered by the folklorist in the Bessarabian villages. The aspects that have been preserved until now are also mentioned. The author appreciates the way of capturing the details and encompassing the whole represented by these phenomena of the popular culture. Each stage of the burial custom is analyzed and explained. |
