Shield tunneling is one of the most important methods of tunnel construction. It will probably bring impact on ambience during construction. Ground surface settlement and soil movement induced by tunnel excavation will produce negative influence on road soil foundation and buildings. It is necessary to research the laws of ground settlement and soil movement induced by shield tunneling. Ground surface settlement and soil movement are studied by three-dimensional fast Lagrange analysis method. The program is compiled with Fish language based on the special software FLAC 3D . The numerical simulation of ground surface settlement and deep soil movement loaded by shield tunneling is performed According to field measurement settlement date of classical documents, the results validate the rationality of the numerical simulation. The change of soil stress filed and displacement field induced by shield tunneling is investigated. The law of ground surface settlement and soil movement hazard is also studied in detail. It is an explicit understanding on environmental hazard of shield tunneling construction. The reasonable method about treatment to soft soil road foundation and nearby building is proposed. |
