Saccharification is commonly considered to be a rate-limiting step in the Bioethanol process from Biomass material. In order to improve the cellulose enzyme catalytic reaction efficiency, Ultrasonic & Microwave co-pretreatment (UMCP) prior to enzyme hydrolysis is employed to depolymerize the biomass recalcitrance of Municipal biomass wastes (MBW) to improve saccharification efficiency. The results showed that Ultrasonic & Microwave co-pretreatment efficiently broken the compact structure of MSW and result in higher saccharification rate compared with untreated samples. The reducing sugars yield was 200.3mg/g, higher than the original value 91.8mg/g under the same enzyme hydrolysis conditions. And UMCP-alkaline or acid yield higher saccharification production. |
