Popis:	This article deals with the possible application of support vector machines in beamforming using a uniform linear array. Here, a linear programming method is proposed for the implementation of support vector machines. The beamforming weights are calculated using the linear support vector regression method. The advantage with this formulation is better performance with good resolution capability and the algorithm can be implemented using any linear programming solvers. The simulation results justify the suitability of proposed linear support vector machines in beamforming.
