Popis: | In order to assess the possible risks associated with methane accumulation in stored coal (e.g. during coal storage or coal shipment), determination of two physical coal characteristics, the concentration of diffusing gas (C) and the diffusion coefficient (D) are necessary. Using field data, graphs are plotted and these graphs are matched with theoretical graphs obtained from the diffusion equation to give best estimates of the field parameters C and D. |
