Popis: | The paper discusses the experience gathered at the Yenakievo metallurgical plant and Dnepr metallurgical complex with respect to using manganese-containing materials in the blast-furnace charge, which results in one of the greatest scrubbing effects when rationally formed in the feed charging cycle and contributes to maintaining the stability of the blast furnace operation at low and unstable quality of the charge material and pulverized coal injection (PCI). As an alternative to manganese-containing scrubbing materials, it is proposed to use the roller-pressed briquettes of ferroalloy production waste characterized by high quality parameters consistent with the iron source requirements. |
