With the urge in increase in speed of locomotives in Indian Railways, there is increased urge in safety of railway is increased speed will automatically needs in increased effectiveness in a braking system. With the braking system in Indian railways relies on regenerative pneumatic braking it does have a time – lapse on braking from the front to the end of the locomotive. Thus,this work is on material selection for eddy current braking with regeneration for faster braking, and power regeneration from braking |
