Popis:	In order to solve the problem of data integration and sharing for heterogeneous database at various departments from enterprises, this paper analyses thoroughly how to use the XML technology to mask differences between the heterogeneous databases. This paper designs an integration model based on the various heterogeneous databases by using the XML database as the middle database. The integration model is applied in the fault diagnosis system, and a data-exchange platform based on BizTalk is designed. On the heterogeneous database model, the fault diagnosis system can meets the need of multiple heterogeneous databases.
