Femtosecond Transient Absorption Spectra and Relaxation Dynamics of SWNT in SDS Micellar Solutions

Popis: Transient absorption spectra and relaxation dynamics of excited SWNT were studied by femtosecond absorption spectroscopy as a function of: the energy of excitation quanta (ℏω = 2 eV, 2.5 eV, 4 eV); the density of the excitation energy; polarizations of the pump and probe pulses. The transient absorption spectra were monitored by white supercontinuum light pulse in the spectral region of ∼ 1.2 ÷ 3.6 eV. The induced transient absorption spectra of SWNT are considered as filling of the size‐quantized energy bands with nonequilibrium carriers; renormalization of the one‐dimensional energy bands at high density of the induced plasma; quantum confined Stark effect and screening of excitons. The anisotropic relaxation rate is observed.
