LTCC (Low Temperature Cofired Ceramics) is widely used for background for optoelectronic devices. It allows to produce multilayer conductive paths, buried passive elements, as well as contacts (bumps) in one structure, which enlarges miniaturisation and reliability. It possesses very good high frequency parameters required for signals in optoelectronic links. Requirements of increasing data rate as well as enlarging of compaction are bases of researches in integration optical connections with substrate. The preparation of optical fiber to the LTCC process was stage of investigation possibility of realisation optical connection integrated with ceramics. |
