Ecological Security Space Management in Urban Expansion Region Based on GIS - A Case Study in Nanchong City

Popis: Using GIS technology from ecological security angle it make a quantitative analysis for expansion land ecological factor of study area urban and determine the ecological security rank distribution of urban space. It divides the urban expansion area into four types: core reserve area, buffer reserve area, limiting construct area and appropriate construct area. Respectively formulate different types of development mode and regional ecological restoration strategy.The study results showed that, ecological elements were the most important constraints for future expansion of urban space, Appropriate for the main urban expansion in the region to concentrate in the eastern and the northern part of Nanchong City, delimit a suitable construction area in the expanding area can satisfy the downtown of urban master planning development demand.This method is guaranteed to natural environment based on ecological security,Urban spatial extension to carry on the reasonable planning of the effective measures.
