Popis:	Results are presented from a study of the volt-ampere characteristics of polycrystalline layers of cadmium selenide and amorphous layers of selenium, as well as the electrical and photoelectric characteristics of CdSe-Se heterojunctions. The experimental data and a theoretical examination of heterojunctions composed of a crystalline semiconductor and an amorphous semiconductor are used to propose an energy-band model for heterojunctions.
