Popis: | Protoplasts were isolated from hypocotyl callus of Gossypium hirsutum . During culture, protoplasts regenerated a cell wall and subsequently divided with the formation of multicellular colonies. A temperature higher than 25°C and the presence, in the culture medium, of ammonium nitrate and calcium chloride, were required for protoplast survival and division. |
