Popis: | Tissue diagnosis of brain tumours in eloquent is often done via needle biopsy but this method yields small samples that may not be representative of the whole tumour. The Neuroport® system enables a larger tumour biopsy to be taken via a burr hole. We report our experience on 5 cases October 2017 and June 2018. Brainlab® navigation was used. The diagnosis in all patients was made without worsening of their modified Rankin scale scores. |
