The present study will examine the effect of wearing an unwoven mask on age estimation. Wearing the mask covers the facial features related to age estimation in the lower half of the face. Therefore, it is predicted that there will be central tendencies in the estimated age of the persons with the mask compared with those without the mask. Three age conditions (young, middle, and old) and two mask conditions (with/without an unwoven mask) are set (i.e., a total of four kinds of images, and the subject estimates the age from these images. |
