Application of Electromagnetic and Ultrasonic Technologies for Creation of Antibacterial Preparations

Popis: Studies of lactobacteria exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF) and ultrasound (US) have been carried out in order to develop alternative methods to antibiotics to suppress the development of pathogenic microflora, which provokes inflammation of mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract. For this purpose, potential production strains-candidates of lactobacteria selected from different ecological niches were given. Their "probiotic" properties were purposefully modified by irradiation of EMF and US.
