The article discusses issues of ensuring timeliness of project completion and energy consumption reduction. Often, exceeding of project implementation period leads to negative results of project objectives and even to their impossibility. The article discusses application of the PERT method at the stage of scheduling the construction, namely when managing a project schedule to reduce total energy consumption, using example of an apart-hotel to evaluate applicability of the method not only to large-scale projects but also to medium-size objects. The study found that the method makes it possible to find probability of project completion by a certain date, take risks into account, but correspondence of obtained data with the reality depends on quality of expert opinion about three project durations: pessimistic, most likely, and optimistic. One month of delay in construction leads to overuse of energy in volume of 217 thousand standard fuel. |
