| Popis: | A retrospective study of patients suffering from prostatic cancer and treated with estrogens has allowed us to develop a test to discriminate a population with a high risk of thrombotic complications due to estrogens from a population that can benefit without danger from this form of hormonal therapy. The so-called “estrogen tolerance test” relies on the presence of circulating immune complexes which can be precipitated from serum by 25% saturated ammonium sulphate. |
